Cyril Holroyd served with the 146th Siege Bty. Royal Garrison Artillery. He was the son of Mr and Mrs J. Holroyd and husband of E. Jeffery (formerly Holroyd) of then 4, Tanhouse Lane, Wilsden, Bradford, Yorks. His was buried at the Ribemont Communal Cemetery Extension, Somme, France, grave reference II.G.3. (CWGC)

Also Louisa, wife of the above, died 23rd April 1889, aged 55 years.

Also Ethel, grand-daughter of the above, died 28th Sept. 1889, aged 10 months.

Also Tom Farrar, grandson of the above, died 10th Sept. 1891, aged 1 month.

Also George Wright, son of the above, died 31st May 1906, aged 45 years.

Also Gunner Cyril Holroyd (R.G.A.) grandson of the above, killed nr Bresle Village, nr Albert, interred at Bresle Wood Cemetery August 6th 1918, aged 24 years.

He did his duty.
